5. Approving a Staff Hiring Request

Purpose

Department approval of Hiring Request.

Applicability

Department Approvers who are responsible for the approving of Staff hiring requests.

Prerequisites

A BAR role is not required to be identified as a hiring request approver.

Procedure

From the Navigation bar hover over Recruit

• Select Recruiting Approvals
• Click on icon to review Offer Details

To approve or Not Approve Hiring Request Offer Details:

• Click green checkmark if approved
  • If adding a comment select drop down arrow next to green button
  • Enter comment in pop up box and save
• If not approved click on
  • If adding a comment select drop down arrow next to red button
  • Enter comment in pop up box and save

Click Submit
