Approve Student Requisition

Purpose Instructions on how to approve a student requisition for posting.
Applicability Department approvers who approve student postings

Prerequisites

A BAR role is not required to approve a Requisition. After the Requisition is submitted by the Hiring Coordinator, the Approver can view and approve the Requisition.

Log into UNMJobs

From the Navigation Bar, hover over Recruit tab.
Select Recruiting Approvals



The page defaults to your list of Pending Requisitions for Approval



Click on the Job Title


You now are in the General section of the Edit Requisitions page.



Review the information in the Details section. You cannot make any changes.

In the Description and Qualifications section, review both the Internal and External Descriptions.



Review Minimum Qualifications. Skip the Ideal tab

Click Next at the bottom of the page to take you to the Job Ad.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Next

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Next

Click Cancel and it will take you back to the Requisitions Approvals


 

REQUISITION APPROVALS

To Approve: If there are no errors and you want to approve the Requisition, click the Green Checkmark

  • After you check the Green Checkmark, a drop down arrow appears where you can add a Comment.


    If you select Add Comment, an Dialog box appears:


    Add your Comment and click Save.

    Click the Submit button



    To Deny the Requisition:
    If there was an error and you want to deny the posting, Click

  • After you check the Red Denial Mark, a drop down arrow appears where you can add a Comment.



    If you select Add Comment, an Dialog box appears:


    Add your Comment and click Save.

Click Submit
