Closing a Requistion

Purpose

To close a requisition in UNMJobs.

Department level Hiring Coordinators who are responsible for the administrative oversight of requisitions.

Hiring Coordinator access is managed via Hiring Coordinator role which can be requested via the Banner Authorization Requests (BAR) system.

Hire Type	Action	Notes
Single-hire	Will close automatically after all applicants are dispensed and the selected applicant's status is changed to hired by the Employment Area.	Although a Posting Duration can be set when creating a new requisition it will only remove the requisition from the web.
Multi-hire (on-going)	Closed by dispensing all applicants and switching the requisition status to closed.
