In the event that an EA enters a hire manually in to Banner or aborts an EOS workflow and completes the hire outside of EOS, the TMS GUID will need to entered on the additional identification Additional Identification tab in PPAIDEN.  The following steps outline the process to find to GUID and enter into Banner.


  1.  Locate the GUID:
    1. Navigate In UNMJOBS, navigate to Reporting 2.0 under the "Reports" tab.  Click the "Shared With Me" link.
    2. Click on the "GUID Search" report.
    3. You can filter the report by searching for the applicants User ID or User Email.  These should be the personal email address of the applicant you are hiringEven if you've already created a Banner ID for the employee, that ID won't display in search results in UNMJobs until after the GUID is entered into Banner, so should search using the applicant email address.  When you're entered the user IDemail, click "refresh" to filter the results based on your criteria.

    4. You can should now see the applicant's name and GUID.  If you right-click on the GUID and choose Export to Excel, the GUID will download to an Excel spreadsheet and you can use Ctrl+C to copy the GUID directly from this screen.to paste into Banner.

  2. Enter the GUID into Banner.  If you have a query only role in banp, see instruction below to enter the GUID into table general.GORADID.
    1. Navigate to PPAIDEN, and view the Alternate Additional Identification tab. 
    2. Create a new record with ID Type GUID.  The ID Type Description should populate with "TMS (UNMJobs) Person Base ID"
    3. Paste the GUID from the TMS report that you copied earlier into the Additional Identification field."Additional Identification" column and click Save.

3. Enter the GUID into table general.GORADID if you can not insert it into PPAIDEN.

a. Enter PIDM, Additional_ID, ADID_CODE, User_ID, Activity_Date, Data_Origin, and Version.  Surrogate_ID is populated by a trigger.
